Husky 42x144 Starter Pallet Rack Section | SU29 Upright Frame

Husky 42x144 Starter SU29 Upright Frame Warehouse Pallet Racking

Husky 42" deep x 144" high Starter Warehouse Pallet Racking features two teardrop punches side by side on 2" centers.   Husky Beams are adjustable every 2". Compatible with most other manufacturers' teardrop pattern.  Use the Pallet Rack Starter unit to begin each row or for individual stand-alone units.  The teardrop pattern is an industry standard and accepts most teardrop-style beams. Beams feature the patented Bowlock® safety clip. Bowlock® cannot be sprung or removed without first removing the beam and requires no special tools. Standard colors are green uprights with orange beams.  Pallet racking is used for storing bulk loads that traditionally take up floor space and are loaded with forklifts.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is a Husky 42x144 starter upright pallet racking unit used for?
A Husky 42x144 starter upright pallet racking unit is designed to provide heavy-duty vertical storage for palletized inventory in warehouse and industrial environments. It serves as the starting section of a pallet rack row, including the upright frames and beams needed for safe load support. Starter units can be used on their own or expanded with add-on bays as storage needs grow. They help maximize warehouse capacity while keeping inventory organized and accessible.
How does the 42x144 size support heavy-duty warehouse storage?
The deeper rack depth allows storage of larger pallets and bulk product loads, while the wide span provides increased horizontal storage space per level. This size is ideal for facilities handling high-volume inventory or oversized goods. It improves storage density without requiring additional floor space. The result is a strong capacity and efficient warehouse organization.
Why are upright frames critical in pallet racking systems?
Upright frames are the vertical foundation of pallet racking, supporting the full weight of stored pallet loads. Heavy-duty uprights provide stability, durability, and long-term safety in high-traffic forklift environments. Proper upright support helps prevent rack misalignment, structural damage, and load failure risks. Strong uprights are essential for reliable warehouse storage performance.
What types of facilities benefit most from starter upright pallet racking?
Starter upright pallet racking is commonly used in distribution centers, manufacturing plants, fulfillment warehouses, and bulk storage operations. Any facility storing palletized goods needs strong vertical storage to maximize warehouse space. These systems reduce floor clutter while keeping inventory easy to access. They are essential for high-density industrial storage environments.
How does pallet racking improve workflow and inventory control?
Pallet racking organizes products into clearly defined storage locations, making picking and replenishment faster and more efficient. It reduces floor congestion and creates safer aisles for forklifts and workers. Organized storage also supports better inventory tracking and load management. This leads to smoother operations with fewer disruptions.
