Metro Wire Security Module Kit, Chrome Plated Security Conversion Kit

The Metro Wire Security Module Kit converts a standard 24-inch-wide Super Erecta Shelving unit into a secure, lockable module, ideal for enclosing one or more areas of an existing unit without replacing the whole shelving system. The kit fits between shelves spaced 20 inches apart and adapts to 24 inch wide shelves in 30", 48", or 60" lengths.

Each kit includes side panels, back panels, and a door. The door features hasps for two padlocks, giving added security options, and when open, it slides conveniently under the upper shelf and stays out of the way during loading and unloading. Please note that posts and shelves are sold separately and must be ordered to complete the unit.

Models and Specifications:

♦ SECM2430NC, fits 24" wide x 30" long shelf. Chrome-plated finish. Side panels, back panels, and a hasp-ready door are included.

♦ SECM2448NC, fits 24" wide x 48" long shelf. Chrome-plated finish. Same construction and features as SECM2430NC, but at a greater length.

♦ SECM2460NC, fits 24" wide x 60" long shelf. Chrome-plated finish. The largest kit in this lineup.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Length: 30", 48", or 60"; select based on the existing shelf length on the Super Erecta unit being converted into a security module.

♦ Posts and shelves are sold separately; this kit only includes the enclosure components, side panels, back panels, and door. Confirm you have compatible 24" wide Super Erecta posts and shelves already in place, or order them separately, before purchasing this kit.

♦ Padlock security: the door's dual hasps allow for two separate padlocks, useful when shared access control or dual-key sign-off procedures are required.

♦ Retrofitting Existing Shelving for Secure Storage: Facilities with existing Super Erecta Shelving units use this kit to add lockable, secure storage without replacing the entire shelving system.

♦ Shared Access Control Environments, facilities requiring dual sign-off or shared key control use the double-hasp door to support two separate padlocks on the same secure module.

♦ Cleanroom and Laboratory Shelving Conversions: cleanroom and laboratory facilities use this kit to add secure, lockable storage to existing wire shelving without disrupting the surrounding open shelving layout.
