Akro-Mils Super-Sized small part bins are the high-capacity step-up from the standard 30-Series AkroBins, built for bulk parts storage when standard bin sizes fill too quickly or hold too small a quantity per pick location. Each bin holds up to 300 pounds and provides more interior volume for large fasteners, fittings, heavy components, and high-volume small parts that would require multiple standard bins to store the same quantity.

Twelve bin sizes span 20" to 29-1/4" outside length. Accessories available for this series include length dividers, width dividers, and clear window inserts. The window inserts are unique to the Super-Sized series and allow a bin to be closed off at the front while still displaying contents through a clear panel. All prices on this page are per carton. Carton quantities range from 1 to 4 bins per carton, depending on the model.

Selecting the Right Bin:

♦ Size selection, use the inside dimensions to confirm the bin accommodates the part, and the outside dimensions to confirm the bin fits the shelf opening or stacking footprint. Both are listed in the product table for every model. The 20"-long models (30280 through 30283) are the smallest Super-Sized format. The 23-7/8"-long models (30284 through 30293) represent the mid-size group. The 29-1/4"-long 30290 is the longest model available.

♦ Carton quantities and pricing, all prices are per carton. Carton quantities are 1, 2, 3, or 4 bins per carton, depending on the model. Confirm the carton quantity for the selected model before ordering and calculate the per-bin unit cost and total quantity needed.

♦ Each Super-Sized bin holds up to 300 pounds, evenly distributed. This is the load limit to observe when filling with heavy components such as bolts, cast fittings, or dense hardware. Do not exceed the 300-pound limit.

♦ Length dividers vs. width dividers, the 40-prefix length dividers divide the bin along its length, creating two or more sections from front to back. The 41-prefix width dividers divide the bin along its width, creating side-by-side sections. Both types are model-specific. Confirm which divider model fits the selected bin before ordering. Some bins are compatible with both length and width dividers; others only support one type.

♦ Clear window inserts, the 21-prefix clear window inserts fit into the front face of specific Super-Sized bins, closing off the open front while providing a clear panel that allows contents to be seen without removing the insert. This is useful when bins contain fine parts that might spill from the open front, or when a more enclosed appearance is preferred while maintaining visibility. Window inserts are model-specific; confirm compatibility before ordering.

♦ Super-Sized vs. 30-Series AkroBins, the 30-Series covers sizes from 5-3/8" to 18" outside length with carton quantities of 3 to 24 bins. The Super-Sized series covers 20" to 29-1/4" outside length with carton quantities of 1 to 4 bins and up to 300 pounds per bin. Choose the 30-Series for fine small parts in large quantities per carton. Choose the Super-Sized series for larger parts, heavier loads, or higher per-location inventory volumes.
