Quantum Super-Sized Pallet Rack Bins

Quantum super-sized pallet rack bins are designed specifically for 42"-deep pallet rack systems, with a 41-7/8" outside length that fills the full rack depth and eliminates the wasted space left by shorter bins at the back of the bay. The open front provides direct access for picking large or bulky parts without removing the bin from the rack. Heavy-duty grips on the front, back, and sides support frequent repositioning. A wide stacking ledge with an anti-slip lock keeps stacked bins stable and prevents forward shifting.

Eight 1/4" drain holes are molded into the bottom of each bin, allowing drainage and airflow for covered outdoor storage, washdown areas, and environments where moisture accumulation is a concern. Waterproof polypropylene construction resists corrosion and requires no special maintenance. Available in blue and gray to support color-coded zone and category organization on the rack. Selecting the Right Bin:

♦ Width: The three models vary only in width. The QRB166 at 16-1/2" wide outside suits positions where rack bays are divided into more than two bin positions across the beam width. The QRB206 at 19-7/8" wide fits two bins across a standard 42" wide rack bay with minimal clearance. The QRB246 at 23-7/8" wide fits in a bay where only one wide bin position is needed, or side by side in a wider bay. Verify the available rack beam span against the selected bin width before ordering.

♦ 42" depth compatibility, the 41-7/8" outside length is designed for 42" deep pallet racks. If the rack is a different depth (36", 48"), the bin will either leave unused rear space or not fit at all. Confirm rack depth before ordering.

♦ Drain holes: The eight 1/4" drain holes allow liquid to drain from the bin bottom. This is useful for outdoor covered storage where rainwater can enter from the front, for washdown applications where the bin is cleaned in place, and for storage of materials that may release moisture. The holes do not affect structural integrity and are present on all three models.

♦ Color options, blue and gray, are available. 

♦ Rack bin vs. standard shelf bins, standard shelf bins (4-inch, 6-inch, Quantum Ultra Stack and Hang) are designed for shelving unit depths of 12" to 24". The pallet rack bin at 42" long addresses a completely different storage footprint, the full depth of a pallet rack bay. Choose the rack bin when pallet rack is the storage system, and the items are too large or bulky for standard shelving bin systems.
