Quantum Wire Mesh Small Part Bins

Quantum Wire Mesh Small Part Bins

Quantum Wire Mesh Small Part Bins | Nickel-Chrome Wire, Airflow, Louvered Panel Compatible

Quantum wire mesh small part bins are built from nickel-chrome wire in a 3/8" x 3/8" mesh grid that provides full airflow and all-angle content visibility, including through the sides and bottom, in environments where solid or even clear plastic bins are inadequate. The open mesh construction prevents dust and debris from settling on bin surfaces, allows humidity to equalize rather than accumulate, and enables visual confirmation of contents and quantity from any position without moving the bin.

A built-in rear hanger mounts directly on louvered panels for vertical wall storage. The open front of the hopper allows fast access for picking. Optional side hangers allow multi-bin stacking configurations. The nickel-chrome wire construction provides long-term corrosion resistance and durability through repeated handling and cleaning.

Selecting the Right Bin:

♦ Wire mesh vs. plastic bins, the wire mesh construction provides capabilities that plastic cannot match: full airflow prevents humidity and odor accumulation, the open structure prevents dust buildup on bin surfaces, and all-angle visibility allows content confirmation without removing the bin or opening any door or cover. Choose wire mesh when any of these properties are required by the application. Choose plastic when mesh openings would allow small parts to fall through, or when lower cost is the priority.

♦ Mesh opening size and part compatibility, the 3/8" x 3/8" mesh grid constrains the minimum part size that can be stored without parts falling through. Parts smaller than 3/8" in any dimension may fall through the mesh. Verify that the stored part is larger than the mesh opening in its smallest dimension before ordering.

♦ In healthcare and cleanroom applications, the body copy specifically references "IV fluids" and "superior hang strength." The wire mesh bins are used in hospital supply rooms, sterile processing areas, and cleanroom support positions where both louvered-panel hang strength and open-mesh airflow are required. Solid plastic bins in these environments can trap contaminants and restrict airflow between reprocessing cycles.

♦ Size selection, use outside dimensions to confirm the bin fits the louvered panel or shelf position, and use inside dimensions to confirm the part fits with picking clearance. Eleven sizes span from 5-1/4" long compact models up to 18-1/2" long large-format models.

♦ Optional side hangers allow bins to be connected side by side or stacked in multi-bin configurations.

♦ Carton quantities and pricing, bins ship in cartons of 5 to 20, depending on model. Prices are per carton. Wire mesh bins are priced significantly higher per unit than equivalent plastic bins. Confirm the carton quantity for the specific model before calculating the total order quantity needed.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Hospital Supply Rooms and Sterile Processing, hospital supply rooms using louvered panel systems mount wire mesh bins for IV supplies, sterile packs, and medical consumables where the hang strength, airflow, and all-angle visibility are required by the storage standard and the cleaning protocol.

♦ Cleanroom Support and Gowning Areas, cleanroom support areas where supplies must remain free of particulate accumulation and humidity between replenishment use wire mesh bins in louvered panel configurations at the gowning station, where the open mesh allows airflow and easy visual confirmation of stocking levels without touching the bins.

♦ Pharmaceutical Storage and Dispensing, pharmaceutical supply rooms where controlled inventory must be visible and accessible without opening enclosures, use wire mesh bins on louvered panels to maintain full visibility of labeled contents at the bin face.

♦ Laboratory Supply Walls, lab environments using louvered panel wall systems for reagents, lab supplies, and consumables, use wire mesh bins where the open construction allows ambient conditions to equalize across stored materials and simplifies cleaning between uses.

♦ For electronics and ESD-sensitive parts storage, electronics assembly, and repair environments that require airflow around ESD-sensitive components and frequent visual inventory confirmation without bin removal, use wire mesh bins in wall-mounted or cart-mounted louvered panel configurations.
