The Wesco Ergonomic Drum Handler High Reach Lift (240154) is built to solve one of the most awkward and risky jobs in material handling: lifting, transporting, and placing heavy drums—especially onto spill pallets and standard pallets—without putting your operators at risk.

This unit provides a complete ergonomic solution for lifting, moving, weighing, and positioning 30-, 55-, or 85-gallon drums, eliminating the need for manual tilting, pushing, or wrestling with them. It’s engineered to handle steel, fiber, and poly drums, including many drums with locking rings.

The real star here is the exclusive Auto Grip Lock system. Once the drum is engaged, the auto grip lock automatically clamps and locks the jaws to the drum rim and will not release until the operator intentionally releases it. The spring-loaded clamp grips any drum rim 3/16" or thicker, and the design means the operator doesn’t need to touch the drum at all during operation—a huge safety and productivity advantage.

For mobility, the handler is equipped with two wheels and two 5" x 2" phenolic swivel casters, plus a floor lock to stabilize the unit during picking and placement. The 1" rise/stroke control gives precise vertical movement, helping you accurately set drums on spill pallets, grates, or standard pallet decks without banging or bouncing.
