The Wesco Ergonomic Scale Model Drum Handler (240155) is a full-service solution for lifting, transporting, weighing, and placing drums on spill or standard pallets—without manual wrestling, guesswork, or separate scale stations.

Built around Wesco’s revolutionary patent-pending design, this unit combines high-reach drum handling with an integrated scale and the proven Gator Grip auto-locking drum clamp. It handles most 30-, 55-, and 85-gallon drums in steel, fiber, or poly, including many with locking rings.

Capacity is based on leg position:
♦ 650 lb with legs retracted (better for tighter spaces)
♦ 1,100 lb with legs extended (maximum stability and capacity)

The star of the system is Wesco’s exclusive Auto Grip Lock. Once the jaws engage the drum rim, they automatically lock closed and will not drop the drum—even when traveling over rough floors. The spring-loaded clamp grabs any 3/16" or thicker drum rim, and the operator does not need to touch the drum at all to lift, move, or weigh it.

The integrated scale delivers ±0.5 lb accuracy, letting you weigh drums on the fly as you pick them up and place them—ideal for inventory control, batching, dosing, and shipping verification.

For mobility and stability, the handler uses two wheels and two 5" x 2" phenolic swivel casters, plus a floor lock to keep the unit planted while loading or unloading. A 1" rise/stroke gives precise vertical control so drums can be set gently on spill pallets, containment decks, and standard pallets.
