Metro 3-Shelf myCart Polymer Utility Cart

The Metro 3-Shelf myCart Polymer Utility Cart series is built around a genuinely practical ergonomic detail, an enhanced handle combined with increased legroom that reduces the likelihood of bumping shins and feet against the cart while pushing. The utility tray is spacious, offering twice the storage capacity of a traditional utility cart, so items fit comfortably without overcrowding.

Smooth polymer shelf surfaces with contoured edges are designed for easy cleaning and stain resistance, and because the shelves are all-polymer, they will never rust. A 7/16" ship's edge helps contain spills and prevents items from sliding off during transport. Each cart includes two labels for straightforward identification.

The Blue myCart models include built-in Microban product protection, inhibiting the growth of bacteria, mold, mildew, and fungi that cause odors, stains, and material degradation. The series is NSF-listed, and ships knocked down for easy, no-tool assembly. The 1627 and 2030 models use four 4" diameter thermoplastic, mark-resistant swivel casters, while the 2636 models use four 5" diameter casters. The upgraded 1627 model steps things up further, with high-density polyethylene, injection-molded shelves carrying Microban protection, and 304 stainless steel posts for added durability and hygiene.

Nine configurations are available across three sizes and three color options. 

Selection Guide:

♦ Color: Gray, Black, or Blue with Antimicrobial. Gray and Black are priced identically and offer the same construction without the antimicrobial feature. Blue includes built-in Microban protection at a modest premium, worth the added cost in any environment where surface hygiene between cleanings matters.

♦ Size: 1627 (18-5/16"x31-1/2"), 2030 (23-7/16"x34-3/8"), or 2636 (27-11/16"x40-1/4"); select based on the footprint of items being transported and the available floor and aisle space. Larger sizes use bigger casters, 4" on the 1627 and 2030 models, 5" on the 2636 models, to match the increased size.

♦ Upgraded 1627 construction, this size steps up to injection-molded, high-density polyethylene shelves with Microban protection and 304 stainless steel posts, a meaningful upgrade in durability and hygiene worth considering for the smallest footprint option.

♦ Ergonomic legroom design: the added distance between the shelves and the operator reduces shin and foot contact during pushing, a meaningful comfort improvement for anyone using the cart repeatedly throughout a shift.
