New Age 2-Shelf Extreme Duty Aluminum Service Cart

New Age 2-Shelf Extreme Duty Aluminum Service Cart | Lightweight Industrial Utility Cart
The New Age 2-Shelf Extreme Duty Aluminum Service Cart brings lightweight strength and corrosion resistance to environments where steel carts eventually fail. Built specifically for coolers, freezers, and dry storage, the aluminum construction withstands moisture, temperature fluctuations, and washdown without the rust and corrosion issues that affect steel equipment over time.
The frame is built from 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" x .070"-thick aluminum tubing, and the shelves are .080"- thick aluminum sheet, delivering real strength without the added weight of steel. Four 6" heavy-duty polyurethane platform casters, two swivel and two rigid, provide smooth rolling and stable tracking. Capacity is 1,500 lbs per shelf, with a total rolling capacity of 2,000 lbs. Four sizes are available, all sharing the same 27" shelf clearance.
Models and Specifications:
97177, 22"W x 37"L x 41"H. Shelf size 21-3/4" x 33-5/8". 27" shelf clearance. Capacity 1,500 lbs per shelf, 2,000 lbs rolling. Aluminum tubing frame, .080" aluminum shelves.
97178, 22"W x 54"L x 41"H. Shelf size 21-3/4" x 50-5/8". Same construction and features as 97177, at greater length.
97179, 29"W x 37"L x 41"H. Shelf size 28-3/4" x 33-5/8". Same construction and features as 97177, but with a greater width.
97180, 29"W x 54"L x 41"H. Shelf size 28-3/4" x 50-5/8". The largest model in this lineup combines the greatest width and the greatest length.
Selecting the Right Model:
Width: 22" or 29"; select based on the footprint of coolers, totes, or containers being transported and the available aisle or doorway clearance in the facility.
Length: 37" or 54"; select based on the volume of material moved per trip. Longer models provide more shelf area for consolidating loads.
Aluminum vs. steel construction: choose aluminum when the cart will be used in coolers, freezers, washdown areas, or any environment with regular moisture exposure. Steel carts elsewhere in the CustomMHS catalog offer higher capacities at a lower cost, but aluminum is the better long-term choice anywhere corrosion resistance matters.
Where Commonly Used:
Cold Storage and Freezer Operations, food service, grocery, and cold chain operations that move product through coolers and freezers use aluminum carts because they resist the corrosion that steel carts develop under constant exposure to cold and moisture.
Washdown and Sanitation-Sensitive Environments, food processing and pharmaceutical facilities that regularly wash down equipment, use the corrosion-resistant aluminum frame and shelves to maintain performance and appearance over years of exposure to water and cleaning chemicals.
Dry Storage and General Warehouse Transport, warehouse and distribution operations needing a durable, lightweight cart for general transport use, the Extreme Duty Aluminum Cart for its combination of strength and reduced weight compared to steel equivalents.
Multi-Environment Facility Standardization: Facilities operating across dry, wet, or cold environments use aluminum carts to standardize on a single cart type that performs reliably throughout the operation, rather than mixing steel and aluminum equipment by zone.
