WireCrafters SF-3 and SB-3 Big Door Knobs. WireCrafters (SF-3) Door Knob Entry - Latches only, does not lock and (SB-3) Door Knob.
SF-3: Door Knob Entry (Front)
♦ A traditional door-knob spindle mechanism that simply latches the door when turned. There is no keyed cylinder, so turning the knob from the outside or inside unlatches freely.
SB-3: Door Knob (Back)
♦ The matching interior knob, sized for easy grip and egress, that works with any of the alternate front trims (including SF-3). It provides a comfortable exit knob but likewise does not lock.
Compatibility
♦ Unlike SF-2/SB-1 which fit both sliding and hinged doors, the SF-3/SB-3 pairing is intended only for hinged partition doors.
Security
♦ Non-locking latch only. This set offers zero pick-resistance or key control. It’s fine for holding a door closed in a low-security area, but it will not deter unauthorized entry.
If you need a genuine keyed lock, consider the SF-1 (keyed cylinder front) paired with either:
♦ SB-3 (door knob back) for a traditional knob exit, or
♦ SB-4 (lever handle back) for ADA-friendly lever operation.
The SF-1/SB-3 (or SF-1/SB-4) combo gives you true key-in/turn-to-lock security on your hinged or sliding partitions.
