Heavy-Duty Work Stands, Shop Tables & Machine Stands

Heavy-duty work stands and machine tables provide a rigid, stable platform for bench-mounted tools, production equipment, fixtures, and parts in machine shops, fabrication environments, MRO areas, and manufacturing plants. Two brands are available, Little Giant and Jamco, across multiple capacity classes and configuration options.

Capacity ranges from 1,200 lb for stainless steel work stands to 3,600 lb for mobile machine tables, and up to 10,000 lb for the heavy-duty Little Giant machine table series. Fixed-height and adjustable-height configurations are available. Select configurations are available as stationary or mobile (on casters).

Product Lines:

Little Giant MTH1-Series heavy-duty machine tables (10,000 lb, fixed or adjustable height), MT1-Series and MT-Series standard machine tables (2,000 lb, fixed height, with or without a drawer), mobile machine tables on casters (3,600 lb, fixed or adjustable height); Jamco WS and WV-Series work stands (2,000 lb, stationary); and Jamco Stainless Steel Work Stands (1,200 lb).

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Capacity: choose the 10,000 lb Little Giant heavy-duty series for the heaviest bench equipment, presses, or precision measurement gear that exceeds standard 2,000 lb tables.
♦ Height adjustment: Choose Fixed Height for maximum stability at a known working height, or Adjustable Height when working height needs to be set for the application or operator.
♦ Mobility: Choose a Mobile Machine Table on casters when the table needs to move between positions, or a stationary table for a permanent equipment station.
♦ Environment: Choose Jamco Stainless Steel Work Stands for washdown or sanitation-sensitive settings requiring corrosion resistance.

Where Commonly Used:

Machine shops and fabrication operations use heavy-duty work stands and machine tables to mount bench grinders, vises, drill presses, and band saws, where structural stability prevents tool vibration from transmitting through an unstable base. Production and assembly areas use them to create permanent or semi-permanent equipment stations with known load capacity at each position. MRO and maintenance departments use caster-equipped mobile machine tables to bring equipment to the repair position rather than moving the equipment being serviced. Operations mounting the heaviest bench-type equipment, hydraulic presses, large vises, and precision measurement equipment, use the 10,000 lb Little Giant heavy-duty machine table for capacity margin that standard 2,000 lb tables can't provide.
