Bishamon BS-Series Pallet Trucks

Bishamon BS-Series Pallet Trucks | Heavy-Duty, Fully Rebuildable, 2,500 to 6,500 lb
Bishamon BS-Series Pallet Trucks are heavy-duty manual hydraulic pallet trucks designed for high-use environments where rollability, durability, and long-term value are priorities. The BS-Series is engineered for superior rollability, reducing the operator effort required to move heavy loads and reducing fatigue during high-frequency pallet transport across warehouse floors, docks, and production areas.
The most significant feature that distinguishes the BS-Series from standard-grade pallet trucks is its fully rebuildable design. Most pallet trucks are treated as disposable when key components wear out. The BS-Series is designed to be rebuilt—worn components can be replaced, and the unit can be returned to service, extending service life and reducing total cost of ownership compared to repeated replacement of non-rebuildable equipment.
Ten models are available across three capacity tiers (2,500, 5,500, and 6,500 lbs), two fork widths (27" and 20.5"), and four fork lengths (32" to 48").
Selection Guide:
♦ Capacity: 2,500 lb (BS-25A), 5,500 lb (BS-55 series), or 6,500 lb (BS-65A); select a model rated at or above the maximum expected load weight. The BS-55 series is the most comprehensive, available in eight fork size combinations. The BS-25A and BS-65A are each available in one fork configuration (48" x 27"). If loads regularly approach or exceed 5,500 lbs, the BS-65A is the appropriate choice. If loads are significantly lighter (under 2,500 lbs), the BS-25A is suitable for lighter-duty, high-frequency use.
♦ Fork width: 27" (models A-D) or 20.5" (models E-H). The 27" wide forks are the standard pallet truck width for GMA pallets. The 20.5" wide forks provide a narrower profile suited for non-standard pallets with narrower entry openings or for operations where aisle width limits equipment width. Both widths are available for all four fork lengths within the 5,500-lb tier.
♦ Fork length, 48", 42", 36", or 32" (within BS-55 series), the standard GMA pallet is 40" deep, making 48" forks the most common choice for full-depth pallet engagement. Shorter fork lengths (42", 36", 32") are suited for shorter custom pallets, skids, or applications where a compact truck is required for maneuverability in tight spaces. Verify the fork length matches the pallet or skid depth before ordering.
♦ Lowered fork height: the BS-25A lowers to 2.0", the closest-to-floor travel in the BS-Series, suited for pallets with minimal deck height clearance. The BS-55 lowers to 2.9", and the BS-65A to 3.3". Verify that the lowered fork height will clear the pallet deck entry on the pallets in your operation.
♦ Rebuildable design and total cost of ownership: the fully rebuildable design of the BS-Series means worn seals, rollers, and hydraulic components can be replaced rather than the entire truck. For operations that run pallet trucks daily and experience normal wear, the rebuildable design typically extends usable service life and reduces long-term equipment spend compared to the repeated replacement of non-rebuildable units.
Where Commonly Used:
♦ High-Frequency Warehouse Pallet Transport: warehouse and distribution operations moving pallets repeatedly throughout a shift, use the BS-Series for the lower operator effort delivered by superior rollability, reducing cumulative fatigue in operations where pallet transport is a constant daily activity.
♦ Loading Dock and Shipping Area Pallet Handling, shipping and receiving operations, loading and unloading palletized freight at dock positions, use the BS-Series for reliable manual pallet transport at 5,500 or 6,500 lb capacity at the dock face, where powered equipment may not be available or appropriate.
♦ Operations with High Equipment Utilization, facilities where pallet trucks operate continuously across multiple shifts use the fully rebuildable BS-Series to extend equipment service life beyond what standard-grade non-rebuildable pallet trucks provide, reducing replacement frequency and the associated downtime and procurement cost.
♦ Manufacturing and Production Floor Pallet Movement, production support operations moving raw material pallets and empty pallets between storage, production positions, and staging areas use the BS-Series for durable pallet transport in active facility environments where equipment is in constant daily use.
