Logitrans SELFSRA 1003 Adjustable Box Holder Rotator with Straddle Legs

logitrans rotator

Logitrans SELFSRA 1003 Box Holder Rotator, Powered Drive, Straddle Legs, 2,200 lb

The Logitrans SELFSRA 1003 is the fully featured rotator in the Logitrans adjustable box holder family, combining powered drive, powered lift, and straddle leg construction in a single unit. It is the top-tier model in the box holder rotator line: powered drive eliminates manual pushing, straddle legs accommodate all pallet types, including solid-deck and closed-bottom, and the adjustable box holder handles widths from 31.5" to 48" via tool-free handle adjustment.

The rotating attachment tilts boxes and crates beyond 90 degrees and supports 2,200 lb, providing ergonomic access to contents without bending or back strain. Fork size is 22" or 27" wide x 49" long; specify at order.

Five models are available at lift heights of 36", 47", 55", 63", and 75". All specifications are otherwise identical.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Lifting height, 36" to 75", select based on the working height required for comfortable content access after tilting. All five models are otherwise identical.
♦ SELFSRA 1003 vs. SELFRA 1003: both are powered drive with the same lift heights and capacity. SELFRA 1003 uses fork-over construction limited to open-entry pallets and is lower-priced. Choose SELFSRA 1003 when solid-deck, closed-bottom, or mixed pallet types are present.
♦ SELFSRA 1003 vs. ELFSRA 1001: both use straddle legs and an adjustable box holder at the same widths and capacity. ELFSRA 1001 is manual push and lower-priced. Choose SELFSRA 1003 when transport distances, cycle frequency, or operator fatigue justify powered drive.
♦ Fork width, 22" or 27", specify at time of order. Both widths use the same 49" fork length.
♦ Box holder width, 31.5"-48", verify that all box and crate widths in the operation fall within this range before ordering.

Where Commonly Used:

The SELFSRA 1003 is used in high-frequency operations handling mixed pallet types across long distances where both powered drive and universal pallet compatibility are required, in assembly and kitting on solid-deck pallets where cycle rates are too high for manual pushing, in receiving and deconsolidation of inbound freight on varying supplier pallets at high daily volume, and in production environments running proprietary skids or custom bases where the rotator must also cover significant floor distance between stations.

Buying Guide

This is the top of the box holder family, combining powered drive and straddle legs, and the pricing tells its own story: the straddle premium nearly disappears once you're already paying for powered drive. Our Reel Lifts & Rotators guide covers that pattern across the whole product line and walks through when the SELFSRA 1003's full capability set actually earns its cost over the three simpler models beneath it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Where does the SELFSRA 1003 sit in the box holder rotator line?

At the top. It combines powered lift, powered drive, and straddle leg construction in one unit, so it carries both features that the three simpler models trade against each other. All four models in the family share the same 31.5 to 48 inch adjustable box holder range, the same 22 or 27 inch by 49 inch forks, the same 36 to 75 inch lift range, and the same 2,200 pound capacity.

How does it compare with the SELFRA 1003?

Both are powered drive with identical lift heights and capacity. The difference is leg style and pallet compatibility. The SELFRA 1003 uses fork-over construction, limited to open-entry pallets, and is lower priced. Choose the SELFSRA 1003 when solid-deck, closed-bottom, or mixed pallet types are present in the operation.

How does it compare with the ELFSRA 1001?

Both use straddle legs and the same adjustable box holder widths and capacity. The ELFSRA 1001 is manual push and lower priced. Choose the SELFSRA 1003 when transport distances, cycle frequency, or operator fatigue justify powered drive, since that is the only difference between the two.

What are the five models, and what separates them?

Maximum lift height only. The 1003-36, 1003-47, 1003-55, 1003-63, and 1003-75 reach 36, 47, 55, 63, and 75 inches. Every other specification is identical across the five, including straddle legs, 2,200-pound capacity, powered lift and drive, the 49-inch fork length, and the tool-free box holder adjustment.

Which lift height should I order?

Base it on the working height required for comfortable content access after tilting, not the maximum available. The tilt function works best when the box opening faces the operator at a comfortable height, so measure where operators actually reach into containers rather than how high the unit can go.

What should I confirm before ordering?

Three things. Verify that every box and crate width in the operation falls within the 31.5 to 48 inch holder range, since loads wider than 48 inches are not compatible. Specify fork width at 22 or 27 inches at order time, because it cannot be changed after delivery. And confirm that powered drive and straddle legs are both genuinely needed, since dropping either one moves you to a lower-priced model in the same family.
