Logitrans ELFSR 1001 Adjustable Box Holder Rotator with Straddle Legs

logitrans rotator

Logitrans ELFSR 1001 series Rotator with non-adjustable box holders

The Logitrans ELFSR 1001 is the straddle-leg version of the ELFRA 1001 box holder rotator. It provides the same rotating-tilting function for ergonomic content access but uses straddle legs instead of a fork-over construction. The straddle-leg design accommodates all pallet types, including solid-deck, closed-bottom, and open-entry pallets, removing the pallet-compatibility restriction of the fork-over ELFRA 1001.

The rotating attachment tilts boxes and crates beyond 90 degrees to provide ergonomic access to contents without bending or back strain. T

Where Commonly Used:

The ELFSR 1001 is used in operations handling boxes on a variety of pallet types throughout the day where the fork-over ELFSR 1001 would require segregating loads by pallet type, in assembly and kitting on solid-deck pallets or non-standard bases, in receiving and deconsolidation processing inbound freight on supplier-specified pallets of varying base types, and in production line box content access where proprietary skids or custom bases carry components to the line.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the difference between the ELFSRA 1001 and the ELFRA 1001?

Pallet compatibility. The ELFRA 1001 uses fork-over construction, which requires open-entry pallets with accessible leg openings, so solid-deck pallets and closed-bottom containers will not work. The ELFSRA 1001 uses straddle legs that accommodate all pallet types, including solid-deck, closed-bottom, and custom base configurations. The straddle-leg models cost more for that flexibility.

When should I pay the premium for straddle legs?

Whenever pallet types vary or are outside your control. Operations running a mix of base configurations, receiving inbound freight on supplier-specified pallets, or using proprietary skids all benefit, since the alternative with a fork-over unit is segregating loads by pallet type before processing. If every load in your operation arrives on open-entry pallets, the ELFRA 1001 covers it at a lower cost.

What are the five models, and what separates them?

Lift height only. The 1001-36, 1001-47, 1001-55, 1001-63, and 1001-75 reach 36, 47, 55, 63, and 75 inches. All five carry 2,200 pounds, use straddle legs, include the same rotating tilting attachment and adjustable box holder, and share the same 49-inch fork length. The Selection Guide states all five are otherwise identical.

Which lift height should I order?

Base it on the working height needed for comfortable content access after tilting, not on the tallest available. The tilt function works best when the box opening faces the operator at a comfortable height, so measure where your operators actually reach into containers rather than the maximum the unit can reach.

What box widths does the adjustable holder accept?

Widths from 31.5 to 48 inches, adjusted by hand without tools in a single adjustment. Verify that every box and crate width in your operation falls within that range before ordering, since loads wider than 48 inches are not compatible with this unit at any model height.

Which fork width should I specify?

Either 22 or 27 inches, specified at time of order. Both use the same 49 inch fork length, so this is a width decision only and cannot be changed after delivery. Confirm it against the loads and base configurations you handle most often.
