Wesco 2-Wheeled Hydraulic Steel Frame Pedalift | 750 lb, Platform or Fork, 40"–54" Lift

The Wesco 2-Wheeled Hydraulic Steel Frame Pedalift is a tilting transport lifter that operates on the same principle as a hand truck it tips back on two wheels to transport a load horizontally. Unlike the 4-wheeled vertical stackers in this category, the Pedalift is designed for horizontal transport and loading rather than vertical stacking into rack positions. The nose plate is engineered to make full floor contact for stable loading from ground level. Once loaded, the unit tips back and rolls on its 8" x 2" wheels to the transport or work position.

Lifting is powered by a foot-operated hydraulic pump for smooth elevation; a foot release mechanism controls lowering. A standard wheel lock prevents the unit from rolling during loading and unloading. The 8" x 2" wheels include 0.75" precision ball bearings for quiet, reliable movement across facility floors. Steel frame construction is designed for compact, low-maintenance use.

Five models are available across two load configurations (platform and fork) and two lift heights (40" and 54"). All models are rated at 750 lb capacity.

Models and Specifications:

♦ 260001, 20" x 16" platform. Lift height 40". Capacity 750 lbs. Foot-pump hydraulic lift, foot release lower. Nose plate full floor contact. Wheel lock. 8" x 2" wheels with 0.75" precision ball bearings. Compact platform, lowest lift height.

♦ 260002, 22" x 22" platform. Lift height 54". Capacity 750 lbs. Foot-pump hydraulic lift, foot release lower. Nose plate full floor contact. Wheel lock. 8" x 2" wheels with 0.75" precision ball bearings.

♦ 260003, 30" x 22" platform. Lift height 54". Capacity 750 lbs. Foot-pump hydraulic lift, foot release lower. Nose plate full floor contact. Wheel lock. 8" x 2" wheels with 0.75" precision ball bearings. Widest platform in the Pedalift lineup.

♦ 260006, 3" x 18" forks. Lift height 40". Capacity 750 lbs. Foot-pump hydraulic lift, foot release lower. Nose plate full floor contact. Wheel lock. 8" x 2" wheels with 0.75" precision ball bearings. Fork model for pallet-entry loads at the lower 40" lift height.

♦ 260007, 3" x 18" forks. Lift height 54". Capacity 750 lbs. Foot-pump hydraulic lift, foot release lower. Nose plate full floor contact. Wheel lock. 8" x 2" wheels with 0.75" precision ball bearings. Fork model at the higher 54" lift height.

Selecting the Right Model:

♦ Platform vs. fork configuration: platform models (260001, 260002, 260003) provide a flat surface for bins, boxes, equipment, and loads that lack pallet entry points. Fork models (260006, 260007) are for pallets and skids with accessible fork entry. Choose the configuration that matches the load type.

♦ Platform size, 20"x16", 22"x22", or 30"x22", the 20"x16" (260001) is the most compact -- suited for smaller loads. The 22"x22" (260002) provides a larger square platform. The 30" x22" (260003) offers the widest platform in the lineup. Match the platform to the load footprint.

♦ Lift height, 40" or 54", the 40" lift height (260001 and 260006) suits applications where the destination height is at or below 40". The 54" lift height (260002, 260003, 260007) reaches higher destination positions. Select based on the highest elevation needed for the application.

♦ 2-wheeled Pedalift vs. 4-wheeled vertical stackers, the Pedalift is a tilting transport lifter suited for horizontal transport and single-point lifting at a destination. The 4-wheeled Wesco platform and fork stackers in this category are designed for vertical stacking into rack positions at heights of 56" to 80". Choose the Pedalift for horizontal transport and modest lift; choose the vertical stacker for elevated rack loading.

Where Commonly Used:

♦ Horizontal Load Transport with Lift at Destination, warehouse and production operations using the Pedalift to move loads from a storage position to a work position and raise them to working height at the destination -- the same workflow that a hand truck handles, with the added benefit of hydraulic lift to reduce manual effort at the delivery point.

♦ Compact Spaces Where 4-Wheeled Stackers Are Not Practical: Operations in tight areas where the turning radius and footprint of a 4-wheeled stacker create maneuverability challenges, use the 2-wheeled Pedalift for its hand-truck-style maneuverability with the added lift capability.

♦ Ground-Level Loading to Workbench or Staging Height, operations loading materials from floor level onto workbenches, staging tables, or conveyor infeed points at heights of 40" or 54" use the Pedalift to tilt the load back, roll it to the destination, and hydraulically raise it to the required height for transfer.

♦ Light-Duty Pallet and Platform Handling: handle pallets, bins, and equipment weighing 750 lb or less in a combined transport-and-lift workflow; use the Pedalift as a simpler, lower-cost alternative to a full hydraulic stacker where vertical rack stacking is not required.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What is the Wesco two-wheeled hydraulic steel frame Pedalift used for?
The Wesco two-wheeled hydraulic steel-frame Pedalift is a heavy-duty manual lifting solution designed to efficiently raise and transport loads in industrial environments. It is ideal for lifting materials to a comfortable working height for staging, assembly, or handling tasks. The hydraulic lift system provides smooth elevation without requiring electrical power. This makes it a reliable choice for facilities that need durable, ergonomic material-handling equipment.
How does the hydraulic Pedalift improve operator ergonomics?
By bringing loads up from floor level, the Pedalift reduces bending, reaching, and heavy manual lifting. Operators can work in a more natural posture, which helps lower fatigue throughout the day. Foot-operated hydraulic lifting also allows for controlled elevation with minimal physical strain. Ergonomic lifting support leads to safer workflows and more consistent productivity.
What makes the steel frame design valuable for heavy-duty handling?
A steel frame provides durability and stability for demanding industrial use. It supports reliable performance when handling heavier loads in busy work areas. The rugged construction helps the unit withstand frequent lifting cycles and tough warehouse conditions. This makes it a long-lasting solution for facilities that require robust, dependable equipment.
Where does the Wesco Pedalift perform best?
This lift performs well in warehouses, manufacturing plants, shipping departments, and staging areas where loads need frequent elevation and movement. Its two-wheeled design makes it easy to maneuver in tight spaces and crowded work zones. It is especially useful for operations that want a manual lifting option without relying on forklifts or powered equipment. Any facility focused on efficient heavy-duty handling can benefit from this lift.
How does the Pedalift support productivity and workflow efficiency?
By elevating materials to an accessible height, operators can move faster and handle products more accurately. Trolled hydraulic lifting reduces wasted motion and improves positioning at workstations. The lift also helps reduce handling errors and product damage by providing stable support. Over time, it contributes to smoother material flow and better daily throughput.
